Happy Birthday Tate!!

When the sun rises over the west coast it will mark a big day in store, one filled with excitement and celebration that Tate has been counting down for. He'll jump out of bed all happy that May 17th has finally arrived, and be greeted with well wishes from his parents and brothers. A fun filled day with friends at school to follow as everyone joins in on celebrating Tate's special day, his 9th birthday. Happy Birthday Tate! I hope you have an amazing day doing all kinds of fun and silly activities as you celebrate. Enjoy all the laughter and fun the day brings and the cake and presents too, can't forget those! Make sure to make a big huge wish when you blow out the candles, I hope it comes true! You've had an awesome year being eight and turning nine is going to be fantastic! Happy Birthday Tate!!

Young Artist Awards

What an exciting day at the Young Artist Awards! Tate attended the ceremony in Los Angeles on Sunday and it was a fun filled day full of interviews, time with friends, and can't forget the awards themselves. Upon arriving at the awards Tate was quick to find his All My Children friends Danielle, Mackenzie and Jake, the four stopping for lots of photos together, all ready to see what the day would bring. Not only was Tate photographed by his family and friends parents...but the press was on site too and images of Tate have surfaced on all kinds of press image sites, so cool! Next came the interviews and Tate got to give several alongside his friends talking about being nominated for All My Children. He also got to shoot for the Joey and Elsie Show, which was very neat for him since Joey played his older brother in his episode of Eleventh Hour, it was great seeing you again Joey!

After the red carpet and interviews, it was time for the ceremony! Tate was anxious for it to begin, not only was he nominated, but he also got to present! He was first up with Danielle and Mackenzie to present the awards for theatre performances and did such a fantastic job! It was such a rewarding experience to be asked to present, and Tate loved every minute of it. When the time came for the winners for Best Performance in a Daytime TV Series to be announced, his name was called! That's right Tate won a Young Artist Award for his performance as AJ Chandler on All My Children, way to go Tate!!! He feels honored to be recognized two years in a row for the work on the show, so many amazing memories, the cast and crew really was a second family for him.

Disguise Costumes

Day by day we're getting closer to Halloween! Spooky decorations, tons of candy, and most importantly....costumes! There are so many new and fantastic Halloween costumes to choose from this year with Disguise Costumes and Tate's favorites would have to be The Hulk, Lizard and Thor. That may have to do with the fact that he's going to be featured on the product packaging for all three! He is currently featured on the company's website with his Lizard costume getting two shots, and he can be seen in their catalog too! Way to go Tate! He had such an amazing time not only shooting the costumes but also getting ready too. Tate got to wear face paint for his Hulk costume and get his hands spray painted green! It was such an awesome experience, thank-you to everyone for such a fun shoot!

ABC Soaps In Depth

One of the exciting perks of being on a soap opera is getting to see yourself featured in the soap magazines! ABC Soaps In Depth focused a lot on All My Children when it was on the air and Tate was spotted in several issues! Not only were images from his episodes shown, but he also was questioned for their Star Talk feature on several occasions. It is so exciting to be asked to participate and Tate loved getting to share his answer to their questions. In one issue, he was asked if he ever had a dream about a co-star and he told the magazine and its readers about a dream he once had about Jacob and Brittany during an episode taping and how his on-screen parents were getting back together...Brittany's Emmy in hand. Very creative dream! AMC Fan Weekend last year brought several images of Tate in the magazine as he was spotted at many events including the Scoop's With the AMC Kids event that he co-hosted! He and his good friend and fellow co-star Danielle Parker were also spotted out and about in Los Angeles just before Christmas heading to see J.R. Martinez on Dancing With the Stars! Such an amazing night and thank-you ABC Soaps In Depth for capturing so many memories in your magazine, Tate loves seeing himself featured in your publication.
